About Myself

I have always had an interest in photography since a very young age. I remember starting with contact prints at the age of 14. I had an old box camera taking twelve frames of 4 x 4 inch films in black & white. I enjoyed and was marveled at the black/white contact prints which I processed in a home-made not totally dark darkroom in the corner of Dad’s garage.

When I went to study in Ireland I did not choose Photography. I took up Mathematics and Information Technology at Trinity College, Dublin. However, I spent 3 years attending night school at the Royal College of Art in Kildare Street, learning about techniques of photography. I was in my element. Concurrently, I also joined the Photographic Society at Trinity which gave me the opportunity to use the dark-room and its facilities. I created beautiful Black & White 20 inches x 24 inches photographs that are still here today. I took part in college exhibitions and national exhibitions. My photographs were mentioned with much praise.

Now that my career in computers is behind me, I spend more time taking photographs and experiment with enhancing them using Photoshop.
